HEATH SPRINGS – Carol Boyd remembers when renowned folk artist Jim Shore used to live in Heath Springs. And she’s been waiting for him to come back ever since.
“I saw in the paper that they were having a signing and I said, ‘Oh, my gosh, I have to go back,’” said Boyd. “Who would’ve thought back then he’d be so famous?”
Boyd traveled to Heath Springs from Indian Land on Nov. 19 to see Shore at the grand opening of The White House gift shop at 426 N. Main St.
