Sheriff investigating first murder of the year

Investigators are searching for whoever shot and killed a woman Thursday night at a home in the 1900 block of Rose Anna Lane.

According to a press release issued by Lancaster County Sheriff’s, deputies found 23-year-old Jenika Jones’ body on a couch. Jones had been shot to death, the release said. It is Lancaster County’s first murder of the year.
