Seniors win in LHS powder puff game

Game earns 353 can goods

The seniors defeated the juniors 25-6 in the annual Lancaster High School powder puff football game held at Memorial Stadium during annual LHS homecoming week last week.

The juniors broke on top 6-0 as Flo Tarque hit Brittany Reese on a five-yard scoring pass.

The seniors came back to tie the game as Lauren White hit Jada Brice on a 60-yard touchdown pass.

Patrice Campbell gave the seniors a 12-6 lead at the halftime with a 100-yard run. LHS senior Mallory Blackmon had a 35-yard scoring run to give the senior team an 18-6 edge.

The final score for the Bruins seniors came as Mary Beth White had a 70-yard touchdown return.

Mallory Blackmon hit Lauren White on the two-point play to cap the scoring.

 Admission was a canned good for the seventh annual game. The seventh annual game raised 353 can goods for HOPE of Lancaster County.
