If you're having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit, try a family night out to see "Scrooge! – the Musical." Familiar characters, such as Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, are coming to life on stage.
The Community Playhouse of Lancaster County's winter production, based on the classic Charles Dickens' story, "A Christmas Carol," opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Stevens Auditorium at the University of South Carolina at Lancaster.
