If you’re looking for a good time as well as a chance to win a coveted video game system, come out to McDonald Green Elementary School on Saturday.

The school is hosting its second annual Family Fall Festival, which will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children will have access to inflatable rides, rock wall climbing and the highly anticipated Whizzer ride, in which four occupants move a lever forward and backward to propel themselves.

There will be $12 armbands available at the door that will give you unlimited access to those rides, said Michelle Faile, PTO president at McDonald Green Elementary.

Concessions including popcorn, cookies, drinks, hot dog and barbecue lunches will be sold.

Those attending can enter for a chance to win a Nintendo Wii video game system, which has been the No. 1 requested gift by many is recent years.

The winner of the drawing will be announced at 2 p.m. Saturday, Faile said.

Proceeds from the festival will go toward the school’s PTO, which is looking to help pay for playground equipment and improvements to the auditorium.

“With the economy, we thought we’d offer this as a time for families to get together,” Faile said. “Bring your chairs and blankets to hang out and enjoy the day.”
