School administrator who once worked here faces sex charges in Aiken County

A former Lancaster County School District employee faces a host of sex-related charges that originated more than three decades ago.

Stephen Coke Eubanks, 67, of North Augusta, remains behind bars, accused of engaging in sexual behavior with students from the 1970s to the 1990s.

Eubanks worked as a district-level administrator in Lancaster County from 1982 to 1992.

The State Law Enforcement Division began an investigation in September after receiving information about Eubanks from an alleged victim, said SLED spokeswoman Jennifer Timmons.
