COLUMBIA – Three months after he pleaded guilty to a firearm charge in federal court, a Lancaster man was sentenced last week to 15 years in prison.
William I. Satterwhite, 52, was sentenced Thursday, Aug. 8, on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm, according to a press release from U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles.
Nettles said U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie of Columbia presided over the hearing and handed down a 180-month (15 years) prison sentence, with five years of supervised release to follow.
