KERSHAW – Samuel David Hargett, 60, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2011.

He was the son of  Pearlie Mae Jordan Steen and the late Lloyd S. Hargett. 

Survivors include his mother of Kershaw; a son, David Lloyd “Davie” Hargett of Jefferson; sisters, S. Diane Hayes of Chester and Helen Howard of Maggie Valley, N.C.; a brother, Dennis Hargett of Kershaw; a  granddaughter; and half brothers and sisters.
