The Rucker Rams took a pair of hardwood wins over rival South Middle School at the Rucker gym on Thursday, Nov. 29.
The Lady Rams rolled to a 50-25 win and the Rucker boys edged the rival Mustangs, 41-39 to cap the sweep.
Rucker held a 17-10 edge at the half, but South came out of blocks with an 8-0 run to open the second half and used a 19-8 charge to gain a 29-25 lead with a period to play.
C.J. Brown hit nine points in the third period to boost the South rally.
