Rucker caps 6-2 season with win

The A.R. Rucker Rams capped their middle school football season with an 8-6 win over Fairfield Middle School last Wednesday at Memorial Stadium.

Fairfield Middle held a 6-0 lead at the half, but the Rams tallied on the kickoff to open the second half as K.D. Wright returned the kick 70 yards for the tyeing touchdown. William Jackson scored on the two-point play to give Rucker the lead. The Rucker defense shut out Fairfield in the second half to seal the win.
