See Lancaster kicked off the Christmas season last week with the unveiling of its newest ornament. As part of an annual tradition that began in 2000, Lancaster residents, Lancaster city officials and members of the arts community gathered Thursday night to see this year’s See Lancaster ornament. With a burgundy background and gold lettering, the 2008 ornament features a rendering of Lancaster’s oldest surviving dwelling – Kilburnie. This is the ninth in a series of ornaments depicting historic places in Lancaster County.
