The armed robbery happened so quickly that Crystal Robinson says she didn't have time to think.
Just after 7 a.m. Monday, two men entered the Meeting Street Express convenience store and took a bag of money from Robinson, the store manager.
Robinson was behind the counter and bent down to open the safe when the men walked in.
One pointed a black gun at her and told her not to move, and the other man went behind the counter and took the money, she said.
They then left out the back door.
Robinson said the robbery lasted less than a minute.
She doesn't know how much money was inside the bag.
"I just froze," Robinson said Tuesday morning, standing in the spot where she was at the time of the robbery. "All I saw was the gun, and that's all I still see."
Robinson, who was the only person working at the time, pressed the panic alarm button behind the counter, ran outside and called 911.
The robbers are described as black men, who were each wearing a skull cap mask over their faces. They were wearing black gloves and dark jeans.
The gunman is described as about 6-feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, and the other assailant is described as 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, according to a Lancaster Police Department incident report.
The store has security cameras, but Robinson doesn't know if they were turned on when the robbery occurred.
No arrests have been made, said Capt. Harlean Howard of the Lancaster Police Department.
Robinson said she's now trying to regain a sense of normalcy. She's worked at a convenience store for more than three years, and this is the first time she's ever been involved in a robbery.
"You always think about this happening, but you never believe it will," she said. "I'll feel better when they're (the robbers are) off the streets."
