Resident asks officials to drive on Taxahaw Road

I am writing in response to Barbara Phillips’ letter about the bad conditions of Taxahaw Road. I also live on Taxahaw Road. I live about seven miles beyond her house. The conditions there are even worse.  We live on this road and we have to travel it.
I have lost two hubcaps because of the potholes. Hubcaps are not cheap.
Our county can build million dollar buildings but not make our roads safe to travel on.
We, the people who live on this road, are taxpayers, too. I encourage our officials to come and take nice, leisure drive down Taxahaw Road.
