A Lancaster man was punched in the head Saturday night after he refused to give his attackers his wallet.

The man and a companion were washing their vehicles at a car wash on Memorial Park Road when three men approached them and demanded money, a Lancaster County Sheriff's Office incident report said.

When the man refused to give up his money, one of the men punched him on the top of his head. The victim and his companion ran into the parking lot of Bugsy's Bar and Grill, the report said. He told deputies he didn't give the attackers any money.

The incident happened about 11:30 p.m.

"It doesn't appear he was hurt to the point that he needed medical attention," sheriff's office spokesman Tom Holland said.

The three attackers ran toward Small Street.

The victim told deputies one of the attackers had on a black shirt and blue jeans shorts. The second one was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans shorts.

The victim didn't know what the third attacker was wearing, but said he had long braids in his hair, the report said.

A witness later told deputies that he saw the three men at the Crossroads convenience store earlier that night. A deputy watched the store's surveillance video and saw the three men, but couldn't confirm their identities.

No arrests have been made, Holland said.

If you know anything about his incident, you are asked to call the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office at 283-4136.
