Former Lancaster High Bruins’ baseball standout Marc Rape hurled a shutout in his Spartanburg Methodist pitching debut on Tuesday.Rape, in a doubleheader with the Limestone junior varsity team, went six innings for his first win. The right-hander hurled a two-hitter in the 4-0 win.The win was the first half of a Pioneers’ sweep.Rape, who also played Legion baseball for Lancaster Post 31, was the Class A-AAAA MVP in the annual North-South All-Star baseball game at Myrtle Beach.LHS went 18-11 and earned a No.
