Rain caused some delays Saturday night at the Lancaster Speedway, but it didn’t stop the action.

In the young guns main event the front row was shared by Andrew Blackwood and Caycee McGuire. Blackwood jumped to the lead early but while racing for first McGuire bumped Blackwood, causing Blackwood to fall to second. From that point on, McGuire held on for a strong finish. Behind him were Blackwood, Andrew Yandle, Josh Langley and Brandon Blackmon.

In the Super Street main event it was Brandy Baker and Jeff Langley occupying Row 1. As the green flag dropped it was Baker jumping to the front with Frankie McGuire close behind. It was side-by-side action and bumper to bumper as they rounded the laps. But Baker slowed down on the backstretch and pitted with mechanical problems. The race was called because of lightning and rain, and McGuire was declared the winner.

In the Super Stock 4 cylinder feature, Jeffery McGuirt and Sammy Carter started on the front row. Blake Rollings had to go the pits with a right flat tire and then returned to the field. McGuirt took the lead early with Carter in second. A caution flag was flown when Jimmy Helms and car No. 54 spun going into the first turn. Car No. 54 went to the rear and Helms retired for the night. As the race resumed it was McGuirt in the lead with Carter in second. McGuirt won and was followed by Carter, Wes Helms, Mike Snipes and Evan Thomas.

In the Late Model main, it was Buddy Smith and Mike Duvall sharing Row 1. David Yandle jumped to an early lead with Steve Davis in second. Yandle led all the way to Victory Lane. He was followed by Steve Davis, car No. 44, John Pursley and car No. 4.

In the pure street main event it was Steve Hinson and Frankie McGuire making up the front row. As the green flag waved McGuire jumped to the lead early with Hinson in second. A caution flew about halfway through the event when several cars got together coming out of Turn 2. After the wreck clearing up. All the cars returned the track except for Bryant Griffin. McGuire won and was followed by Hinson, Kevin Blackwell, Jesse Carson and car No. 2.

In the FASTRAK Late Model feature it was Chris Fite and John Pursley sharing Row 1.

A major caution came out in the early laps when a group of cars bunched up near the backstretch opening, with some of them crashing into the water barrels.

The cars in the crash were driven by Andy Blackwood, Brandy Baker, Ronnie Mosley, Jerry Dover, Andy Hodges and B.J. Otto. A few other cars suffered heavy damage which brought out a red flag.

When the race resumed, Pursley jumped to the lead with Fite in second. Pursely led flag to flag giving him the victory.

Mike Huey, finished second, followed by Benji Knight, Jerry Dover and Fite.

In the Crate Sportsman main, Junior Stacks and Brian Greene were in the front row.

Greene led the race flag to flag. Following him were Chris Bell, Stacks, Kenny Ramsey and Shaun Medlin.
