Rain causes P-31 to reset games

The Lancaster Post 31 American Legion baseball teams have been trying to dodge the rain this week.

Rain washed out action for the P-31 baseball teams on Monday, with the seniors slated to host Fort Mill and the juniors to play in Rock Hill.

The Lancaster senior team put its 3-0 mark on the line Tuesday night when it hosted York Post 66.

The Lancaster junior team, 2-4 hosts Clover tonight, while the senior team ventures to Fort Mill for a League V game. The seniors’ June 21 road game with Fort Mill will now be played as a home game.

The Lancaster seniors are also slated to be at home Thursday night for a League V game at 7 with Chester.

The juniors will make up their rainout with Rock Hill on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Rock Hill.
