Ten years ago, Starbucks introduced its Pumpkin Spiced Latte. The mix of Starbucks’ signature espresso, milk, whipped cream and a mysterious pumpkin spice syrup was surprisingly good.
The drink has now become a fall staple for many coffee drinkers. It was different, and maybe that’s what made it so popular.
Now, however, a trip down the grocery store aisles in late October reveals food companies have gone “pumpkin spice crazy.”
