KERSHAW – The local nonprofit that helps mothers in need now has a presence in southern Lancaster County.
Last week, the Pregnancy Care Center began taking appointments at the Kershaw Area Resource Exchange (KARE) office at 110 S. Hart Street in Kershaw.
PCC Director Julie Walters said staff realized that many of the girls and young women it sees are from the Kershaw area. In November, discussions began about the agency using space inside KARE’s building.
An agreement was reached in December and announced last month.
