Duke Energy crews are working to repair a power outage to 2,700 homes and businesses in Lancaster and northeastern parts of the county.
Officials say power are hopeful to have power restored by noon today.
Duke Energy District Manager Rick Jiran said the area affected by the outage is bounded roughly by Market Street and Glenwood Road in downtown Lancaster, along Pageland Highway to the Buford community and south to Flat Creek Road and Fairmeadow Drive (Bailey Road) in the Elgin/Antioch communities.
