The Lancaster Post 31 seniors took game one of the American Legion playoffs best of five series 18-10 over Inman Post 45 Monday night.
Lancaster jumped on top 2-0 in the first inning when Tripp Rollings doubled in two runs.
Lancaster added two more in the bottom of the second to go up 4-0.
Inman took the lead in the third as they scored six runs to make the score 6-4.
Inman’s lead didn’t last for long as P-31’s first baseman Tyler Rodgers drilled a three-run home run to give P-31 a 7-6 lead after four innings.
