Victoria Lynn Porter and William Glenn Ford, both of Surfside Beach, were married March 23, 2013, at The Coker Ranch by the Rev. Jim Elder.
The bride is the daughter of Jack Blankenship of Ohio and Marcia Rogers of Waxhaw, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rogers of Charleston and Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Blankenship of Ohio. She is a 2012 graduate of Midlands Technical College with an associate’s degree in public service (paralegal) and health science. She is the bookkeeper/legal assistant for the Neill Law Firm.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lex Ford of Lancaster. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Knight and the late Mr. and Mrs. Burton Ford. He is a 2012 graduate of Horry Georgetown Technical College with an associate’s degree in sports turf management. He is the assistant superintendent of Wicked Stick Golf Links.
Best men were Lex and Jake Ford.
Groomsmen were Chandler Blankenship, Taylor Banks, Nathan Martin, Gavin Flynn, Matthew Whitley and Donald Kirkely.
Ring Bearer was Landen Schumann.
Maids of honor were Jordan Blankenship and Ashley Snipes.
Bridesmaids were Brooke Baker, Ginnie Miller, Rachel Presson, Randi Hollis, Katie Millen and Brittany Christian.
Flower girls were Bobby Whited and Jessica Heurring.
Attendant and greeter were Karen Knight and Chris Rhyne.
The bride wore a fitted wedding gown in ivory with pearl and silver beaded detailing, with a full skirt and a chapel length train and veil. The strapless gown featured a dropped waist and sweetheart neckline. The full skirt, made up of many layers of fabric, was taken up into a French-style bustle.
A reception was held at The Coker Ranch.
The couple honeymooned to the Bahamas.
