According to Lancaster Police Department reports:

- A Lancaster man was arrested at a local bar on May 1.

David Michael Faulkenberry, 24, 1121 6th St., was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

According to the report, officers on foot patrol at Good Time Charlie’s saw Faulkenberry and knew he had an outstanding arrest warrant. During a search, officers found a silver vial containing six Xanax pills.

Faulkenberry told officers the pills were his mother’s and he needed to take them to her in the morning, the report said.

- Officers checking suspicious activity on West Springs Street arrested a man on gun and drug charges April 29.

Quintin Trevon Elder, 19, 411 W. Springs St., was charged with carrying a handgun and simple possession of marijuana.

According to the report, officers responded to 412 W. Springs St. and saw a car in front of the home. Two people, including Elder, inside the car began acting suspiciously when officers approached, the report said.

Officers found marijuana and a handgun in Elder’s pockets, the report said.
