According to Lancaster Police Department reports:

- A Lancaster man was arrested on a drug charge after a traffic stop on March 18.

William James Blakeney, 33, 4000 Alee Lane, was charged with possession of crack cocaine.

The report said officers saw a truck stopped in front of a home on Hazel Street, a known drug area. Officers followed the truck when it pulled off and stopped it after the driver failed to make a complete stop at Dunlap Street and Willowlake Road, the report said.

Officers found a crack cocaine rock under the floor mat where Blakeney had been sitting in the truck, the report said.

According to Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reports:

- Six gold chains, a wedding ring, three gold bracelets, a digital video recorder and eight DVDs were reported stolen from a Summit Avenue home on March 19. The resident said the items were taken between 3:30 and 11 p.m. There was no forced entry to the home.

The items have an estimated value of $2,465.
