According to Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office incident reports:
A 37-year-old man reported his scooter was stolen from the end of his driveway in the 700 block of W. Meeting St. sometime between March 31 and April 1. Estimated cost of the black and grey 2011 Quiet 50 motor scooter is $1,200, a report said.
Two computers were reported stolen April 2 from a home in the 900 block of Pardue St., a report said. The homeowner had been away for a month and returned home to find his back door kicked in and his computers stolen. Estimated value of the computers is $1,849.91.
A homeowner reported April 2 that someone had removed 200 feet of wooden fence and 200 feet of electric fence from his yard in the 600 block of Potter Road, a report said. He also noticed that several metal and wood posts were missing. Estimated value of the missing items is $1,300 and there was also $200 worth of damage to the property.
Deputies investigated a report of wire stolen from underneath a home in the 100 block of S. Minor Street in Kershaw April 4. A homeowner said someone had cut and removed all of the wiring from a crawl space under the home within the previous two weeks, a report said. Estimated cost of the wiring is $1,500 and there was also $500 worth of damage to the property.
Norma Jean Wright, 56, 1364 Stroupe Road, turned herself in to deputies on April 4 and was served three outstanding bench warrants, including possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, driving under suspension, second offense, and driving under suspension, third or subsequent offense.
