Whether it was a foreign country or in his native Palmetto State, John Platt was active in spreading love through the work of God.
Platt, who served 15 years in Lancaster at the Moriah Baptist Association, gave 52 years of his 78 years to serving God and spreading his word, no matter where he was.
A cancer victim, Platt died earlier this month.
