Lancaster Post 31 remained alive in the American Legion baseball state tournament, taking a 5-1 win over Union Post 22 Sunday, July 29.
Tripp Rollings, the winning Lancaster hurler, combined with Kendall Knight to hurl a four-hitter. Rollings, in six frames, allowed three hits and struck out six. He walked four. Knight, in three innings, allowed a hit and fanned two.
Brien Clyburn led the Lancaster offense with two hits. Bobby Delly had a hit and scored three runs. Jonah Crenshaw had a hit, RBI and scored twice. Tyler Rodgers supplied a hit and drove in a run.
Rollings and Devin Rodgers each had a hit for Lancaster.
Post 31 faces the loser of the Sumter vs. West Columbia game at 3 p.m. Monday, July 30.
