The Lancaster Post 31 junior baseball team fell to 3-8 on the season, dropping back-to-back games to Rock Hill Post 34.
On Thursday at home, Rock Hill edged the Lancaster juniors, 10-7. On Wednesday, Rock Hill rolled to a 12-1 home win over Lancaster.
In the game Thursday night at Eggleton Field, Trey Payne went six innings and took the loss. He allowed seven hits, six walks and hit a batter.
Payne struck out four. Austin Pate worked an inning in relief and fanned one.
Trevor Payne and Dalton Creighton led the Lancaster offense with two hits and one RBI each. Seth Graves generated a hit and drove in two runs.
Wesley Knight and Hank Thompson each had a hit and drove in a run. Austin Pate and Troy Cunningham added a hit a piece.
On Wednesday night, Dalton Creighton, 1-2, took the loss in 4.1 innings of mound work. He allowed only three hits, but walked eight. He struck out one.
D.J. Drakeford went 1.2 innings and gave up three hits and two walks.
Trevor Payne paced the Lancaster offense with two hits. Austin Pate, Troy Cunningham and Daniel Mackey added one hit each.
Lancaster is slated to cap regular-season play Wednesday when the juniors travel to York for a 7 p.m. League V game.
