Just wanting to help out other kids was the goal of 9-year-old Gabriella Plyler.
Gabriella decided to participate in Locks of Love, where you grow your hair, then get it cut to make a wig for a child in need.
"I want to help out the people that don't have any hair," Gabriella said.
Gabriella learned about Locks of Love on an episode of the "Oprah Winfrey Show" and decided that it was something that she wanted to do. It took her a year to grow her hair to the minimum six-inch ponytail that is required for making the wigs.
