This is a response to Bruce Miller’s guest column, “Put America first, not your political party,” published in the Dec. 30, 2011, edition of The Lancaster News.
I really would prefer not to agree with a depressed Republican/tea party supporter. Yes, you gave U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney the benefit of the doubt.
Unfortunately the tea party experience produced congressional gridlock. The lobbyists appear to be in charge and few in the House or Senate appear to have any backbone to stop it.
