Officials: Flu vaccine abundant this year

The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control has ordered more doses of the flu vaccine than ever before, and local residents should benefit from this year's supply.

Vickie Hinson, director at the Lancaster County Health Department, says the vaccine is “abundant” in the county. You can get a shot at the health department, physician offices, local retailers and pharmacies such as CVS.
