I have listened and watched this debate over President Barack Obama’s “You didn’t build that” comment.
And after watching and listening to the debate over reported and under reported, its President Obama’s own commercial that finally made me have enough. Some of you will disagree, but that is fine. But for this president to lecture anyone is ridiculous.
This is a president who does not know the first thing about small business, let alone big business. He was a student, community organizer, a state senator, U.S. senator, and then foolishly, on all our parts, a president.
I own a small business in Lancaster – one that my wife and I had the guts to open, with no help from anyone.
Not the so called Small Business Administration (SBA,) not the stupid stimulus program that sent 79 percent of the money over seas and not the hundreds of millions that went to Obama bundler and supporters, only to go bankrupt.
We opened our business with a hope, prayer and hard work, with super low prices and customers who are the best.
As far as the bridges and roads, no. Mr. President, you and your government did not build those either. My, and millions of other hard-working American workers and companies paid for those, too. They were built by companies who bid on those projects and built them with privately-owned equipment.
You see, Mr. President, the government has no money. It’s the American taxpayer who owns the government. Not the other way around. Without our tax dollars you have no government.
This government was formed to be for and by the people, not the other way around.
I served this country – in the military and as a police officer. Injured in the line of duty in both, and with lupus for more than 12 years, I still work out of pride within myself. Always have.
It’s time we, as a country, start pushing back on this ridiculous agenda before it not only ruins our country, but bankrupts it. This administration, spends more time worrying about gay people marrying, than it does jobs. It panders to anything that will help re-election.
The president, while holding more than 150 fundraisers in the last six months, has not even met with his own jobs counsel.
Let’s all stand together this Nov. 6, and not only vote the president out, but send a clear message to Congress as well, get off your duff, get something good for the country, not yourselves, or we will vote all of you out as well.
