No sponsor for Christmas Basket collection drive

There will be one less Christmas charity drive this year.

The Ward Faulkenberry Memorial Christmas Basket fund, an annual drive that had provided assistance to local families during the holidays, is not expected to run this year.

The local chapter of the American Red Cross, which sponsored the fund during the past five years, has no plans to continue the charity drive.
