A key in the South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team’s return to Omaha to defend their national championship is handling challenges this season.

“It’s dealing with adversity,” said USC pitcher-outfielder Steven Neff, the former Lancaster Bruins and Post 31 Legion baseball star.
