Mick Mulvaney will serve as the grand marshal of the Lancaster Christmas parade on Dec. 13. The parade starts at 6 p.m.
Mulvaney, who has served the past two years as the District 45 representative in the State House, was elected in November to succeed Greg Gregory as the District 16 senator.
Gregory has served in the state Senate for 16 years. The Lancaster Republican did not seek re-election this year and endorsed Mulvaney, also a Republican, early in the race.
