Moriah Association choir strikes right chord

The parking lot at Bethel Baptist Church will be empty at 6 p.m. tonight.No, services there haven’t been canceled and the Rev. Tim Clark is still its preacher.Tonight, Clark and the flock he shepherds will join with other Baptist churches from across the county for the Moriah Association Mass Choir Concert at Second Baptist Church.Clark said while he would enjoy the chance to preach to a crowd of more than 1,000 worshippers from the association’s 55 churches, but he’s going to be too busy singing.“It’s a close one,” Clark said, laughing.
