Missing Richburg teen returns home safely

RICHBURG – A 17-year -old reported as missing earlier this month has returned home safely.

Thomas “Blake” Boan was reported missing on Oct. 14 by his work supervisor from a motel in Richburg. After several days of no word from him, Boan’s family and local law enforcement officials requested the community’s help to find him. 

Chester County Sheriff Richard Smith expressed relief at Boan’s safe return, saying the teen had been out of state.

“Our prayers were answered,” Smith said. “He came home.”
