Two men have been arrested in connection with a home invasion Saturday night on Shiloh Unity Road.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has charged Emilio Brown, 20, of 3321 Daystar Road, and Samuel Wright, 19, of 1705 Tradesville Road, each with first-degree burglary.

Tom Holland, sheriff's office spokesman, said Brown and Wright were among five men responsible for an 11 p.m. burglary in which gunshots were fired inside the home.

Arrest warrants have been issued for the following men:

Darren J. Henderson, 18, of 6125 Shiloh Unity Road; Donald Nebraska Henderson, 26, of 1560 Earnhardt Drive; and Edward Jerome Montgomery, 21, of 632 Ginger Cake Road.

The resident told deputies he was awakened by the family's barking dog. He went to the living room and saw four men enter the home all dressed in red, according to an incident report.

After the assailant who was holding a rifle demanded money, the resident got his handgun from the bedroom.

The assailant shot at the resident, but missed. The resident fired one shot back. One assailant was shot in the leg, Holland said. The four assailants then left the home.

The resident's wife and children witnessed the shooting. They weren't injured, Holland said.

The man who was shot was treated at a North Carolina hospital, Holland said. On Tuesday afternoon, Holland didn't know what facility he was taken to.

Brown and Wright arrested

Brown and Wright were arrested after another home invasion Sunday night.

According to an incident report, a man was inside his Tradesville Road home when he noticed the motion sensor porch light come on.

He got up and saw two men standing near the front door. After he asked what they were doing, one of the two pulled out a hand gun, the report said.

The gunman tried to force himself through the door, but the resident managed to close the door, lock it and call 911, the report said.

The incident happened just before 9 p.m.

The resident told sheriff's deputies he heard at least one gunshot right before he called 911. A neighbor told deputies he heard multiple shots and saw at least two people run from the home toward Shiloh Unity Road, the report said.

A deputy later saw a man run behind another home on Tradesville Road. He matched the description of one of the assailants in the burglary, the report said.

That man, identified as Wright, and Brown were arrested at that home and are being held at the Lancaster County Detention Center.

Their bond has been denied.

Holland said Brown and Wright have been charged with unlawful possession of a sawed-off shotgun in the Shiloh Unity Road home invasion.

Nobody has been charged yet in the Sunday burglary.
