INDIANLAND–AcompanyspecializingininformationtechnologyandmedicalrecordsmanagementhasmovedtoIndianLand.StateandcountyofficialsannouncedTuesdaythatIntegratedHealthcareSolutionsisrelocatingfromCharlottetoIndianLand’s521CommercePark,saidLancasterCountyEconomicDevelopmentCorp.PresidentKeithTunnell.IntegratedHealthcareSolutionsofferscomplete,cost-effectiveelectronicmedicalrecordsandpracticemanagementsolutions,accordingtocompanyofficials.Thecompanywillinvestapproximately$470,000inLancasterCountyandbring35newhigh-payingjobs.Salariesrangefrom$30,000to$50,000ayear,Tunnellsaid.“It’sagoodlittlecompany,”hesaid.“They’reasmallcompanythat’sgrowing.ItproveswhatwecandowhentheDepartmentofCommerceandthecountyworktogethertobringprojectstoLancasterCountyinSouthCarolina.”IntegratedHealthcareSolutionsPresidentGaryHamiltonsaidinapressreleasethatthecompany’smovetoLancasterCountyispartof“ourorganization’slong-termgrowthstrategytosecureandenhanceourcurrentmarketposition.OurselectionwasfurtherfacilitatedbyLancaster’sproximitytooneoftheSoutheast’slargestcities,aswellasthesupportofstateandlocaldevelopmentagencies.”IntegratedHealthcareSolutionshasconsistentlycreatedvalueforphysiciangroupsbyeffectivelybecomingasingle-sourceforbundledsoftwaresolutions.Thecompanyhasaddressedthetwomostsignificanthurdlesthathaveeitherpreventedorlimitedthemigrationofphysicianstothesestate-of-the-artsystems–costandtechnologyburdens.“LancasterCountyisexcitedaboutIHS’sdecisiontolocateinLancasterCounty.ThisprojectisjustoneofmanycorporateofficeprojectstohavelocatedintheIndianLandareaoverthepastfiveyearsduetoourlocationnearCharlotteandourlowcostofdoingbusiness.WewelcomeIHSandlookforwardtoalongandprosperousrelationship,”saidLancasterCountyCouncilChairmanRudyCarter.Fordetailsaboutthecompany,visitwww.ihsolutions.org.Fordetailsaboutjobs,callthelocalS.C.EmploymentSecurityCommissionat285-6966.Tuesday’sannouncementwasthesecondforLancasterCountythisweek.OnMonday,URSNuclearCenter,anuclearenergyconstructioncompany,announcedthatitwasopeninganewofficeandcreating400jobsatEdgewaterCorporateCenterinIndianLand.Theventureisa$11millioninvestment,Tunnellsaid.
