Every day of the school year, the people in our school cafeterias work hard to give our students meals that taste great and provide the nutrition and energy our students need to grow strong and succeed in school.
We know that healthy, balanced meals make a big difference in how well students do in school and how healthy they are when they become adults.
Here are things you should know about our lunch program:

Free and reduced priced meals
-
Free and reduced priced meals are available through an application process.
-
If a student did not eat free last year, parents are asked to send money for lunch and/or breakfast on the first day of school.
-
Parents or guardians are responsible for the payment of meals until the meal application is approved.
-
Every family who qualifies must submit a new application each year.
-
Only one application is required per family.
-
Please fill out the information on the back of the application for each child in the household who attends school. Please make sure all information on the application is filled out correctly, particularly, the head of household section, the income section, signature on back and the last four digits of your Social Security Number.
-
If any information is missing, the application process is delayed, and you may face a delay in your children receiving meal benefits.
-
If you receive a letter from Food Services stating your child is pre-qualified to eat free meals, you do not have to send in an application.
-
If you have a child in the household and you did not get a letter for that child, however, you will have to fill out an application for that child.
-
◆ You will receive notification of the eligibility status of your application as soon as it has been processed.
