Mayor Shaw always shown giving spirit

When my husband, Preston Blackmon (former City Councilmember) became ill, Mayor Joe Shaw came by our house at least twice a week to see what Preston and I needed. He would always have a kind word and showed a giving spirit with every visit.
Preston got to where he didn’t talk much. But once when Mayor Shaw was visiting Preston one time said Joe is a good man to talk to.
For those of you who don’t know Joe Shaw personally like I do, I would like to tell you what kind of man he is. He is a man of integrity and honesty.
He is a God-fearing man. He has been a good mayor and he will continue to do a good job for our city.
On Nov. 2, vote for Joe Shaw for our mayor of Lancaster, the Red Rose City.
