The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a former Verizon store manager for breach of trust related to selling used cell phones.
According to the May 28 incident report, Verizon loss prevention agent Steven Mesrey told deputies the manager of the 10092 Charlotte Highway store in Indian Land had been buying customers’ used phones when they got new ones so he could sell them online.
