Man reports mob assault in Indian Land

The investigation is ongoing in the case of a possible mob assault on an Indian Land teen earlier this month.

A sheriff’s deputy learned of the assault after responding to a home in the 1500 block of Juniper Hills Lane in Indian Land just after 7:45 p.m. Oct. 21, according to a Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

The 17-year-old male victim told the deputy he was walking home from a friend’s house on South Legacy Park Boulevard when he was approached by a group of people he knew, including two men and a woman.
