A group of people called police last week after a man pointed a gun at their car behind an elementary school.
Lancaster police officers responded to Lancaster High School at 9:16 a.m. July 8 and spoke to the four people who were in the car, according to a police department incident report.
The driver, a 45-year-old Lancaster woman, told officers she was picking up her son from S.C. Vocational Rehabilitation, located at 1150 Roddey Road behind North Elementary School, when the man pointed the gun.
