Man grateful for gift of life

Christmas is a time for giving. But for me, I can’t separate Christmas from Thanksgiving for I feel this is a time for giving gifts and for giving thanks.
In August of 2009, I received the greatest gift that anyone can get – the gift of life.
A transplanted kidney, donated by a wonderful friend, has given me a new lease on life, the prospect of more Christmas seasons to come and another huge reason to be thankful.
