Man dies from shooting injuries

A Kershaw man died late Monday night, Jan. 28 after he was shot in a Lancaster neighborhood on Saturday, in what police are calling the first murder of the year.

Kevisis Anthony, 32, died from his injuries Monday at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, said Lancaster Police Capt. Scott Grant on Tuesday morning. 

“This has turned into a murder investigation,” Grant said.
