Authorities briefly searched a wooded area for a man who accidentally shot himself with a pellet gun July 22, though he was soon found and taken to a hospital for treatment.
Several deputies responded just after midnight to the 2300 block of Continental Drive about a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they spoke with a 53-year-old woman who identified herself as the injured 35-year-old man’s mother.
