The Lancaster Police Department responded to a drunken dispute between a man and his nephew, whom he accused of trying to be a not-so-subtle pickpocket.
According to the incident report, the 52-year-old man called police to his home in the 700 block of Taylor Street about 5:50 p.m. Feb. 28, saying his nephew tried to steal $180 from his pocket.
The responding officers noted the man’s right pocket was torn and said they went inside to speak with the man’s 37-year-old nephew, who was asleep on a couch.
