FORT LAWN – A team of bounty hunters alerted the Chester County Sheriff’s Office to a suspect who was wanted on a Horry County warrant, and when deputies went to arrest that man at a Fort Lawn residence, a raid ensued.
DeMarcus Jermaine Massey, 23, of 203 S. Market St., Lancaster, was arrested Feb. 19.
A fugitive recovery team alerted the Chester County narcotics unit that Massey could be found at 529 B Carabrook Road, Fort Lawn.
When deputies arrived, they found Massey hiding in a crawl space in the house, a report said.
