Local man arrested in assault case

Police have arrested and charged a Lancaster man in connection with a violent assault that happened along Main Street last month.
Gaeric Quindrell Johnson, 22, 414 South Ave., was arrested Wednesday at 6:31 p.m. in the 900 block of Loft Lane, according to a Lancaster Police Department booking report. He is charged with criminal sexual conduct and a warrant was served on him while he was in custody at the police department, the report said.
